We have another busy weekend filled with events and construction throughout the City. Events are concentrated on the West side and Downtown on Sunday, while construction is more distributed on Saturday. Of significant note is the Jazz Fest at the Art Gallery all weekend, and the Scotia Bank Half Marathon on Sunday.

Notable Impacts – Saturday June 25th

  • Vancouver International Jazz Fest on Robson Square and Howe Street (24 hour closure). Full closure of Howe from Georgia to Robson (parkade access is retained). Permanent closure of Robson from Howe to Hornby.
  • Utility construction on Cambie bridge Pacific off-ramp (7am to 5pm). Pacific off-ramp will be closed 7am to 2pm. 1 lane will be retained on Pacific at all times (of 2).
  • Concrete Pour on Thurlow street at Davie (7:30am to 3:30pm). 1 lane southbound will be retained on Thurlow.

  • Scotia Bank Vancouver Half Marathon (7:30am to 11am). Various closures through the West Side and West End, most notably Cornwall from MacDonald to Burrard, Burrard Bridge Southbound, and Pacific from Burrard to Jervis.
