‘Mobi, which literally means ‘more bikes,’ is the new name of the soon-to-be launched City of Vancouver public bike share coming to downtown Van this summer. Pronounced ‘moe-bee’ the spirit of the program reflects mobility, motion and momentum – everything that makes cycling in Vancouver an exhilarating experience, according to the City’s media release.
A total of 1,500 bikes at 150 stations will be available by the of this summer, primarily in the downtown peninsula.
