The Wrap Project

Sep 11, 2018

The DVBIA teamed up with the City of Vancouver to seek artists  that could create designs to be printed on vinyl wraps for up to 30 utility boxes in Vancouver. The reason for this project is that utility boxes are often plain, uninspiring and are an easy target for graffiti. This is part of an annual project that works to enhance the public realm by incorporating local artists’ work along busy commercial streets.

The newest art wraps are being installed through August and September and each utility box is wrapped with a uniquely-designed vinyl overlay. There are currently over 10 art wraps throughout the DVBIA’s catchment area.
