Mayors’ Council launches campaign to #CureCongestion

Apr 05, 2017

Congestion is a pain for commuters across Metro Vancouver every day. We’ve all experienced delays that made us late for work or school, or kept us from spending more time with our families. The Mayors’ Council wants to #CureCongestion and keep Metro Vancouver moving.

This provincial election, pledge your support and join the Mayors’ Council calling for an end to congestion on our roads and transit system.

A strong road and transit network is vital to keeping our city accessible—whether we’re getting to our next meeting, going home to our families or we are transporting a delivery to our clients. Our region is growing and we need a transit and transportation system that keeps up with our growth. DVBIA supports the 10-Year Vision, the Mayors’ Council’s regional plan to improve our transit services, roads and transportation infrastructure. This means more increased bus service, more frequent Canada Line and SkyTrain services, fewer passups and less crowding. This upcoming provincial election, we have an opportunity to make sure urgently-needed transportation investments are made to #CureCongestion. Pledge your support and call on the next Provincial Government to relieve congestion on our roads and transit systems.
