Grind it Out at Harbour Centre

Feb 21, 2017

This March will mark the return of Harbour Centre’s Urban Grind. Vancouverites are invited to get their heart rates up by climbing the stairs to the iconic Vancouver Lookout. It runs (get it?!) every Tuesday in March from 4:30-6:30pm.

New this year: B.C’s very own elite Tower Runner, Shaun Stephens-Whale, will be on site on March 7, 14 and 28 to give his stair climbing tips. His most recent accolades include winning the 2017 Rainier Tower Fight for Air Climb in Seattle, and placing third in the Climb to Abu Dhabi Vertical Marathon and third in the Empire State Building Run-Up.

The Urban Grind comes with great perks. Participants will be rewarded at the top with a stunning 360º aerial view of Vancouver, a refreshing beer, and DJ entertainment.

Climbers have the ability to customize their workout by completing the route as many times as they like during the allotted time. Additionally, every participant will receive a $5 Harbour Centre Food Court voucher to redeem at any of the Food Court vendors on site.
