While she doesn’t look a day over 39(!), Canada will actually turn 50 next year and there’ll be celebrations galore. The big day is July 1, 2017, but why party for just one day when you can kick up your heels for 365 days?

The federal Canadian Heritage Ministry is leading the charge for many activities across Canada, while local communities are also getting in on the fun.

St. Joseph Communications is a Canada 150 partner and has created Passport 2017 – a mobile and web platform where you can list your event. You can personalize recommendations, stories and event listings to plan your year-long partying accordingly.

Starting in October, Canadians are being invited to participate in ParticipACTION’s 150 Play List – a call to try 150 unique physical activities that define us as Canadians. Sounds like fun!

From science to art to community engagement to innovation – there are so many ways to celebrate Canada, you’ll need more than one year to do it!
