The Summer of 2014 goes out with a bang.

TAIWANfest once again returns to downtown Vancouver from August 30 till September 1 on Granville Street and the north plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery as part of VIVA Vancouver sponsored by the DVBIA.

Witness art exhibitions from puppets to scarecrows or experience traditional Chinese medicine. Be sure to check out a great culinary battle in rice vs. noodles, or try out a dish at the Taiwanese Street Banquet.

If you’re a fan of movies or classical music, the Symphony of Movies, conducted by Maestro Ken Hsieh, will present a free concert celebrating Taiwanese and Canadian filmmakers.

TAIWANfest is also enriching the Granville Street culture with many performances in music, circus or dances. So much to do and a whole weekend to do it!
