The Downtown Ambassadors® are comprised of full-time paid Ambassadors who are trained to provide hospitality assistance, business referrals and member services to the DVBIA area. The Ambassadors patrol on foot every day from 8am to 8pm. Each district has one ambassador that is the first point of contact for the businesses with the Downtown Vancouver BIA. The ambassador is responsible for building relationships within the businesses and the community, identifying concerns, working with ambassadors to address and answer those issues and keeping the membership informed of BIA activities. We are looking for an Ambassador that is passionate about Robson Street, art, shopping, and public spaces.
Clean Team Ambassador
A Clean Team Ambassador enhances the Downtown experience and provides micro cleaning and basic hospitality assistance on behalf of the membership. Their focus is on supporting placemaking, street cleanliness, reliability, and being a team player.
COMMUNICATIONS & EVENT LEAD
The DVBIA is rolling out an exciting new 5-year strategy that focuses Millennials as an audience. As the Communications & Events Lead, you’ll have an opportunity to engage members and stakeholders in shaping Vancouver as a livable, sociable and economically vibrant, urban environment. Downtown Ambassador Volunteer
The Downtown Ambassador program is extending its services with a pilot hospitality volunteer program. If you are friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, and love to volunteer your time, then this is for you! Volunteers will primarily be providing welcome assistance to downtown visitors. Apply to Volunteer
COMMUNITY SAFETY MANAGER
The Community Safety will lead on the delivering policy, strategy, and operational implementation of community safety programs for DVBIA members. The successful candidate will help shape a program that will support all safety aspects in Downtown Vancouver.
