Bird’s Eye View

Located at the southeast corner of Seymour and Cordova streets.

CETA artist Elia Mishkis designed this stunning view to Vancouver Harbour which creates an optical illusion that can be viewed looking skyward or as seen from above. Two common residents – the majestic bald eagle and seagull soar in the centre of the work for a bird’s eye view over Vancouver’s landmark buildings, architecture and views. Included are the Vancouver Art Gallery, Canada Place and the Lion’s Gate Bridge with a cruise ship passing below, as well as Gastown’s characteristic street lamps, the railcars and grain elevators – all distinct elements viewed near Vancouver’s harbour.
